MG has a facelift in the works for the Hector, less than two years after kick starting its India journey with the mid-size SUV. The spy shots show that the Hector’s front end has been slightly tweaked along with other minor changes to keep the SUV looking fresh among its competition.
The grille, which previously had a honeycomb design finished in glossy black, has been given a matte black kind of finish with squarish elements making up the grille. The rest of the front-end looks similar to the current Hector. We expected MG to turn to the Hector Plus for inspiration, which is not the case here.
From the side, it is easy to make out that the test mule seems to be running on bigger 18-inch wheels which nicely fill out the wheel arches. The new five-spoke alloy wheel design looks good on the SUV, doing justice to its size. The rear end of the test mule is completely camouflaged and thus there are no changes that can be made out just yet.
