  Green NCAP is an independent organisation that rates cars based on energy efficiency and emissions - Kona Electric is the second battery-EV from Hyundai’s stable to be awarded the maximum five-star rating, following the Hyundai IONIQ Electric in 2019 The Hyundai Kona Electric has been granted a five-star rating, the highest score possible, in the all-electric subcompact SUV segment from Green NCAP. The rating was based on three parameters; clean air, energy efficiency and greenhouse gases.  As a zero-emissions vehicle, the Hyundai Kona Electric received top marks for clean air and greenhouse gases. Tata Nexon EV achieves 2,200 unit sales milestone

  - Tata Nexon EV clocks 1,000 sales in a period of three months - The company launched the model back in January 2020 The Tata Nexon EV has surpassed the 2,000 unit sales milestone. In over 10 months since its launch, the sales of the model have reached 2,200 units as of November 2020. After rolling out the 1000th Nexon EV in August this year, the car clocked in another 1,000 sales units in three months (Sept-Nov 2020).  Tata Motors claims that the Nexon EV has emerged as the best-selling electric car in India. Currently, the company is believed to be leading the EV segment with a 74 per cent market share. Petrol price crosses Rs 90 per litre mark in Mumbai; diesel stands at Rs 80 per litre!!

  - Fuel prices have increased in the past few weeks - Indian Oil Corp recently launched 100 octane petrol, priced at Rs 160 per litre Fuel prices have witnessed a steady hike with each passing day for the past few weeks, and the prices have hit a new high. Petrol and diesel now cost Rs 90.30 and Rs 80.47 per litre, in Mumbai respectively. The fuel prices have witnessed a hike across the country, with customers in the national capital having to shell out Rs 83.71 and Rs 73.88 per litre of petrol and diesel, respectively.
